Mac Clinical Research are looking for volunteers diagnosed with vulvodynia to take part in a clinical trial investigating a potential new treatment.

The study medication is being investigated to evaluate the effect it has on the pain in the vestibule when caused by insertion (tampon/sex) or touch (provoked vestibulodynia).

It is a novel therapy that increases dopamine levels in the body, which contribute to feelings of pleasure, and pain modulation.

Key eligibility criteria:

  • Women aged 18-65
  • Diagnosis of vulvodynia, with pain for at least 12 months
